As a photographer, Paula is interested in human interaction through the use of environment and how photography can be used to explore the complexity of the relationship between space and place. Themes of identity, intimacy and vulnerability are recurrent in her practice. Paula's most recent series 'It's been a while' is a work in progress project exploring the complex relationship between placeattachment and the home.

For curatorial work, Paula is interested in exploring unconventional or alternative ways of showing work. These being outside the traditional methods of a white spaced gallery.
